The bootylicious singer Beyonce to stage Aussie tour of booty

The bootylicious singer has announced concerts in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth, and will perform songs off her latest album I Am ... Sasha Fierce, as well as some greatest hits.

The I Am tour, which is currently playing to audiences in North America, features an all-female band and a newly created high-tech live show.

World-renowned designer, director and photographer Thierry Mugler is working as creative adviser and costume designer for the tour.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale at midday (local time in each city) on April 14 until 5pm April 16 through Visa Entertainment.

Tickets go on sale to the general public through Ticketek on April 24.

- September 12 - Brisbane Entertainment Centre
- September 15 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
- September 18 - Acer Arena, Sydney
- September 22 - Adelaide Entertainment Centre
- September 24 - Burswood Dome, Perth
