Aussie pop duo The Veronicas have mapped out a headlining run of the US this spring behind their latest album, "Hook Me Up."The "Revenge Is Sweeter" tour, which kicks off April 29 in Tucson, AZ, consists of 40 shows scattered across the nation, taking twin sisters Jessica and Lisa Origliasso from coast to coast through the July 18 final performance in Denver. This latest round of dates marks the pop stars' first stateside trek since their run last year with the Jonas Brothers behind their 2007 sophomore album, "Hook Me Up." The release, which peaked at No. 2 on the Australian charts, has spawned several singles, including the latest one, entitled "Untouched," which earned a spot on Billboard's Top 10 Heatseekers chart for three months.
The Veronicas recently filmed a performance of "Take Me on The Floor," the second single from "Hook Me Up," for the CW's "90210." The episode, which airs May 12, has the Australian singers playing themselves, performing for West Beverly's prom.
The duo will also perform in Las Vegas April 19 for the Miss USA 2009 pageant, airing at 7 p.m. Eastern Time on NBC.
