About Miroslav Klose
Every four years since the first tournament began in 1930; the FIFA World Cup has displayed some of the greatest talent that soccer fans have ever seen, as the best players from around the world suit up for their national team, and attempt to bring the championship home. A total of 736 players will take the center stage (32 qualifying teams with 23 players each), but only a select few will rise above the rest, captivating fans with their phenomenal goal scoring ability, , and signature moves. One of these players is Germany's striker Miroslav Klose, who burst onto the international stage at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, exciting football fans all over the world with his goal scoring headers and signature front-flip goal celebration.
Klose learned his football at a village club, SG Blaubach-Diedelkopf, in the German seventh division. Klose had also successfully completed an apprenticeship to become a carpenter and had worked in this profession until joining the professional team of FC Kaiserslautern.
